Hi my name is Caja Heard
This Christmas Eve we lost one of the most important and special person in our lives, our mum. Our mum was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago and since then it’s only spread around her body and gotten worse. Unfortunately this lead to her passing away this year and we’re all truly heart broken. Not only leaving her three children behind, a husband, a mother and all her friends but leaving us with the biggest holes in our hearts too. 

life was cruel to you towards the end and Cancer ruins people’s lives every single day. It rips apart family’s all the time and people who have lost loved once’s to cancer too will know the pain, not just for the ones who are diagnosed but the ones who are left behind. I won’t go into details about her illness out of respect of my mum but anyone who did know Hayley knows how brave she was and that she took any chance of a longer life that she could, she never gaveup and most defiantly didn’t let her illness define who she was or stop her doing what she wanted. 

We can’t imagine our lives without you mum, only 48. You had so much life left for you to live and explore but it was cut short. I’ll never understand why it had to be you, I don’t think any of us will. 

we as a family would like to have donations given to Cornwall hospice care as they cared for our mum is her last days and they really did go above and beyond for her, so for that we are so very greatful.
