Dear RVCC Community,
The recent Rogue Valley Fires have caused devastation and heartache for our entire Valley. While we all have suffered this week, there are some amongst us in our RVCC Family who have lost everything. We have at least four confirmed RVCC Employees (with several still unknown) who have completely lost their homes and all of their earthly possessions. Our Club is special for so many reasons but our unique ability to open our doors, our hearts, and resources for those most in need is something we should be very proud of. Please, help donate whatever you are able to as we help our RVCC Staff during this immensely difficult time.
Of our displaced employees, one is a young mother with two girls (ages 2 and 5) and in need of any help we could provide (clothing, supplies, etc.) as she lost everything in the fire; she is currently staying at a friend’s house / sleeping in a small living room. If any member has multiple spare bedrooms and willing to host this young family, please let us know. Other employees, some of whom have been employed for nearly 40 years are staying in hotels, have lost their car, have pets that need care (dogs and cats), and are without spare clothing or basic living necessities. Additionally, some of our displaced employees were renting and are in need of enough funds to afford new apartment housing as monetary donations are sincerely welcomed and will go to great use.
Clothing Sizes if you have any to donate: (you may drop off at the Club anytime this next week)
Female Sizes:
Age 2 and 5 (toys, games, or coloring supplies welcome, too)
Young Lady size XS or S for shirts / pants
Mother(s) (sizes unknown)
Male Sizes:
Anything ranging from a Medium to an XL
