I write these words from inside a torn tent, in a place we once called "home." A few months ago, our lives completely collapsed. Our house turned into rubble, our past became just a memory, and we now live amid the cold and rain, trying to survive day by day.

I am Mohammed Abu Harbeed, 26 years old, and I bear the responsibility of supporting my entire family. My father is ill, and my siblings are pursuing their education at universities and schools. I also have a small family of my own: my wife, who is also 26, and our two little children: Khaled, who is two and a half years old, and Mahmoud, who is just 10 months old.

We do everything we can to stay strong despite the tough circumstances. But the truth we try to hide is that we can no longer do this alone. The nights are cold, food is scarce, and the fear of tomorrow weighs heavily on our hearts. We have given everything we have, and now we need you—your kind hearts and helping hands.

The Rising Cost of Living:

In these difficult times, life has become a series of increasing challenges. Prices are soaring, and every passing day reveals that what we once considered essential is now out of reach. The food that used to fill our table has become a distant dream, and the clothes that used to protect us from the cold are now a burden. Even our most basic needs are now more expensive than we can afford.

As costs continue to rise, the pain in our hearts grows as we watch our children and family face an uncertain future without being able to provide them with a better life. We don’t ask for much—just to live in peace and safety and to be able to provide for my family and children without the constant fear of tomorrow. Our dream is to create a safe and healthy environment for everyone.

What Do We Need?

We need to raise $50,000 USD to rebuild our lives. This amount is divided into five main stages, each targeting specific needs to ensure a better life for my family and children:

1. Stage 1 – $5,000 USD:

Securing safe shelter away from the cold and rain, where my family and children can live in safety.

2. Stage 2 – $5,000 USD:

Providing essential needs such as food and clothing for my children and family, ensuring proper nutrition and better health.

3. Stage 3 – $5,000 USD:

Providing basic medical care for my father and children, ensuring their growth in a safe and healthy environment.

4. Stage 4 – $10,000 USD:

Covering university fees for my siblings, enabling them to continue their education and fulfill their dreams. Additionally, installing solar panels and batteries to secure sustainable energy for our shelter, helping us improve our quality of life.

5. Stage 5 – $25,000 USD:

Rebuilding our destroyed home to become a permanent shelter for us and my family, protecting everyone from life’s uncertainties and restoring stability and security.
