Covid-19 has taken a toll on all of us, many small businesses around (especially bars, live music venues and restaurants) have already closed and the rest are struggling to stay afloat. Maintaining any small business is always challenging but this is the toughest challenge we have faced in our 12 years. Due to the Coronavirus, we are struggling with minimal customers, no savings, no lifelines, just running on Faith.
We have applied for PPP which according to the requirements we were eligible but, hundreds of millions of dollars of Paycheck Protection Program emergency funding have been claimed by large, publicly traded companies. The PPP was designed to help the nation’s smallest, mom-and-pop shops keep employees on payroll and prevent mass layoffs across the country amid the coronavirus pandemic.
We have managed to continue paying rent, utilities and insurance but we are at a point where we need help to continue meeting these demands. It is difficult to ask, but we can no longer allow our pride to get in the way of maintaining our business. We have already had help from a family member and our local church, without that we would not even be eating, but God has kept food on the table, now I am hoping that God plans to keep this business going.
With all the campground closures, restricted (essential) travel in place and the Canadian border closed, our business has taken a huge hit. I specialize in hot water demand units that are installed in mostly the high end coaches and people traveling through this area call on my services, but no one is doing much traveling due to everything closing down.
The funds will be used for rent, storage, utility bills and to keep the bank from taking our service truck. In order to keep our mobile wheels rolling we're going to need help which is why we are here asking for funding.
