Ruth's Alternative Cancer Treatment

My name is Ruth Chavers.  I am a Christian wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.  On April 13, 2017, I received a doctor's report that I never dreamed would be a part of my life's journey.  I was told that I had cancer.  A few weeks later, as I went to my first oncologist appointment, I learned that I had stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer.  The oncologist stated that because it was a very aggressive type, she would treat it aggressively.  She told me that she would do an aggressive form of chemotherapy to shrink the tumor, then have me follow up with surgery.  With that said, I had to pray, and I asked others to do the same because I needed the discernment to know what treatment would be best for me.  I thank God that all of the prayers that went to Him on my behalf resulted in me making the decision that I felt would benefit me most and would not alter my lifestyle so drastically that I could not enjoy being the person that I was meant to be.

I have chosen to work with a naturopathic doctor through my journey!  As I looked into Alternative treatments, I felt that it would allow me to continue doing what I was created to do.  I love to encourage people!  It brings me great joy when I get the opportunity to speak a comforting word to a broken heart, perform a kind deed for someone who may feel that no one cares, or speak words of wisdom to someone in need of it.  There is nothing in this world that brings me greater satisfaction, joy, peace, contentment; and overall, fulfillment than rendering some form of help to a person in need.  With that said,  I started receiving these treatments during the latter part of June.  On a side note, my body has responded very well to them, praise God!  Prior to me taking the treatments, I began to experience fatigue and a loss of appetite.  When I started the treatments, my doctor prescribed Ozone, Artesunate, Poly MVA, and Vitamin C IVs, Mistletoe Injections, 10 different supplements, and a change to an Organic Diet.  Because these types of treatments are considered experimental, my insurance company will not pay.  

I desire to continue with these treatments for the next three years.   They average about $3,600.00 per month. The only problem that I forsee is that perhaps by the end of this year my family savings will be depleted.  A couple of people have encouraged me to tell my story and start a Go Fund Me Page.  Truth told, I never thought that I would ever have to ask anyone for any type of financial assistance.  However, due to this unforseen life event, I sincerely see the need to let go of my fear and ask.  If anyone can do anything to help in my time of need, I would greatly appreciate it!  Anything that anyone gives would be helpful.  I am trusting in my Savior, Jesus, that however much is raised that is what will be needed.  Thank you for your support and God bless you.
