Russell Stryker medical transport

Donation protected

Hello, my name is Dianah Ness.  Stephanie Stryker is the first person I met when I moved to Kingman in 2010.  Her friendship has been God ordained.  We are best friends and I love her and her family.

On September 22, 2020,  Stephanie took Russell to the ER KRMC. He was in respiratory distress and the doctor did not think he would make it through the night.  He was diagnosed with Covid, bacterial pneumonia and also got CRE while in the hospital. He spent 5 weeks there and was not making much progress.

Stephanie met with the team on Oct.  26th to discuss having him moved to a hospital in Phoenix that would provide more aggressive treatment. The doctor reluctantly agreed to the transfer and we begin to explore possibilities.  That night he went into cardiac arrest and by 5 am his blood pressure was extremely low. The doctor again did not give him any hope of survival.

But GOD!!

Through many miracles both great and small, he was transported to Mayo clinic late on Wednesday, the 28th.  Since moving to Mayo, he has made tremendous progress.  God orchestrated the move and it has made all the difference in his recovery.

The VA will not cover the transport for Russell to Mayo.  While they have not received any bills yet, we know they are coming. The Strykers', as well as myself, have had many people express a desire to help in some way. We are hoping to raise the money to cover this transport.  We really do not have any idea of the cost but we hope this will be a blessing to them.
