Our amazing father has recently lost sight in both his eyes. This has been extremely difficult for us to handle as a family. He is currently in Anchorage, receiving care at ANMC. We are looking into getting a second opinion for his condition and other treatment options for him. As of now, we have referrals at Alaska Retinal and John A. Moran Eye Center in Utah.
It breaks our hearts to know our father is hurting, not being able to see his kids, grandkids and partner’s face. The goofy family man. That’s what so many people know our sweet father as and that is exactly what he is. We are doing our best to stay strong for him and working hard to get him the best care we can.
I know this has been a difficult year for all so we, as his kids, thank all of you for each and every donation. ❣️
