Running For Eva - Autism Awareness

We are so thrilled and excited to announce that on Sunday, 22 October 2017, Mandy Mason (Eva's Clinical Director) will be participating in the Goodlife Rottnest Running Festival Marathon to help raise awareness of Autism.
Mandy is the Director of Perth's Fit Learning who are the world leaders in transformational learning for children. Mandy is a very special person to the Lopez family! She has been Eva's Clinical Director and Autism advocate since her Autism diagnosis in late 2013.
Eva attends Fit Learning's homeschool program. Mandy and the team at Fit Learning work tirelessly overseeing and producing Eva's programs where she is gaining vital skills to enable her to attend mainstream schooling, being part of a classroom and making friends.

We are again undertaking a campaign to help our family raise funds for Eva's continued early intervention and other needs and feel that the Goodlife Rottnest Running Festival Marathon is also the perfect opportunity for us in helping to promote Mandy's Autism awareness campaign. We feel that Mandy’s personal sacrifice in training for and completing a full marathon to raise awareness of Autism is not only inspirational to us, but may also be inspirational to you in turning your minds to this issue that so many children face.
The generous donations and sacrifices contributed by everyone during our previous fundraiser for Eva were hugely appreciated! It enabled Donna and Arie (Eva's parents) to access services and assistance that continue to be life-changing and of huge importance to Eva’s treatment. The valuable skills of reading, writing, language and forming friendships are some of what Eva has learnt as a result of your generosity. She has come a very long way since her intervention commenced in early 2014, but still has a long way to go to attend school independently and successfully. We know it will happen.
The amount raised from our previous fundraiser has contributed to Eva making grade level leaps in reading, language and maths. If Eva's father (Arie) could have a chance to shake your hands and have a beer with you he would!
So today, we ask of you to help out once again. If you could see the difference you have made in Eva's life you would be astounded. Every little bit counts no matter how big or small, every contribution is a blessing.
