Running to Paradise

Many of us runners really struggled with the air quality during the worst of the Camp Fire.  Now the air has cleared and I know we are so grateful to get outside again.  For Paradise, CA residents the consequences of the massive fire will be felt for years to come.  Please join us in dedicating one day of running to the victims of the Camp Fire and raising money for the North Valley Community Foundation.  

On Sunday, December 16 runners from around the Peninsula will be working together to cover the distance from the mid peninsula to Paradise, CA - roughly 200 miles!  

Runners will be running on treadmills or outside accumulating miles to the grand total on Sunday, December 16 from 8am- 5:00pm and commenting/tallying up their total on Instagram (@gorun1dond4ever).

Here's what you can do to help:

2.  Encourage people to join in and  DONATE! 

3.  On Sunday, December 16 between 8am and 5pm go out for a run!  Any distance helps us get to our goal.

4.  Post your mileage (and a picture too if you want!) on Insta to @gorun1dond4ever.  Or you can comment on Colleen's Facebook (Colleen Heusel McGuire) or you can text Colleen.  No matter what we'll make sure your mileage is added to the total.
