Running 2 marathons in 2 days!
On the 5th December - 6th December 2020 I will be running from Mombasa to Diani beach in Kenya. It is roughly 22-24 miles ( hard to tell due to road closures etc)so just short of a marathon. And I will be going there and back , so 44-48 miles in 2 days. I will be raising money for St Barnabas Mission School in Mombasa. This is a school I volunteer at, struggling to provide textbooks and basic necessities forthe children to learn. Things like paper, electricity, textbooks are things I have always taken for granted, and seeing young students with such a drive to learn have this necessity stripped from them is heartbreaking. Raising 5000£ would be astronomical for them and I can’t even describe the difference it’ll make. It’ll provide muchneeded materials, help to pay for electricand provide meals for the kids. They are the happiest children who deserve a lot more than they have, and hopefully the money raised will give them a few tools to help further there academic careers.
