Run for SPI

Small Projects Istanbul (SPI) is a grass-roots NGO operating in Istanbul, Turkey to support those displaced by conflict in the Middle East and North Africa Regions. SPI runs a Community Education Center where local families and individuals come to participate in a variety of weekly programs designed to help them settle into their new lives and access the best opportunities possible to pave the way for a brighter future.
SPI works to rebuild lives through sustainable grassroots initiatives, including Women’s Skills Development Program, an array of language classes, as well as other activities such as music, art, and computer programs.
In 2014, Shannon Kay, a close friend of this team, cofounded SPI. SPI has grown significantly since then, and Shannon is now its co-director.

To raise money for SPI, we've gathered a team of awesome humans to run in the:
1. Great Train Race, a gruling 13.5km, hilly run from Belgarve to Emerald.
2. Great Ocean Road Running Festival, including  6km, 14km and half marathon (23km).

Your support will help SPI continue their great work in Istanbul.
