Run For Rhinos

Paul Swart and Pierre Colin are "Running For Rhinos" in the April 2018 London Marathon representing Rhino Conservation Botswana. Their goal is to raise funds and create awareness of the plight of rhinos in Africa today. These ancient iconic animals are on the brink of extinction; mercilessly poached for their horns under the misguided belief that it has medicinal value. The fact is that rhino horn has no medicinal value at all - it consists of keratin, the same material as fingernails. Donations to "Run For Rhinos" will go directly to Rhino Conservation Botswana, a non profit organization that monitors and protects rhinos that have been relocated to Botswana from heavily poached areas in other countries such as South Africa and Zimbabwe. Paul is a trustee of Rhino Conservation Botswana while Pierre is an ardent supporter and donor to the Trust.
