Running for Gaza: Join Me in Bringing Urgent Aid

Greetings,

Many may ponder about my origins, intrigued by my proficiency in four languages. Despite being born in Algeria, brought up in Greece, and educated in France, my heart proudly beats with Palestinian identity.

These past six months have weighed heavily on me as I witness the devastating toll on my people, particularly on children who endure the harsh realities of malnutrition and inadequate healthcare.

In light of the urgent humanitarian crisis in Gaza, I have decided to run the Geneva semi-marathon on the 5th May, 2024 and raise funds for a non-profit organisation named ‘Education for Employment (EFE)’.

EFE have been serving the Gaza community since 2006, initially delivering job-training and placement programmes to unemployed youths in Gaza. During these times of crisis, EFE’s team members are working alongside partners on the ground to ensure support to those who are in need of immediate care.

How would your donation help?

Your contributions will directly support critical initiatives aimed at providing immediate relief to those in need:

- Emergency Health Training for individuals in emergency midwifery, first aid, and psycho-social support. EFE’s trained personnel will serve displaced families in shelters, offering vital care to those in trouble.

- Emergency Food Distribution to affected communities.

- First-aid support: Your donation can have an immediate impact. USD 600 provides an Emergency Bag filled with essential medical supplies; USD 250 covers the cost of an Infection Prevention Kit, including sterile gauze and masks; USD 50 offers a Hygiene Kit for a displaced family or a Recreational Kit for a displaced child.
