Run for Team Kemme
Hello Family and Friends! For those of you who do not know, our cousin Joe Kemme was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer in January 2017. He has undergone extensive chemotherapy treatments over the last 18 months. On Sept 25th, Joe started a clinical trial at Penn Medicine in Philadelphia in the hopes that the combination of cancer fighting and immunotherapy drugs will be effective. Anyone with family or friends who have fought such a battle may understand what Joe, his wife Sam and their sons Joey and Nicholas have been going through. But through it all Joe has been amazingly positive and strong, while still managing to exhibit the usual Joe Kemme humor.
On November 18, 2018, Beth & John and daughters Jennifer, Valerie and Maria have set out to run the Philadelphia Marathon to fundraise for Joey and his family. Our sons Johnny and Michael are also supporting our training and run. We hope that you would be so kind as to contribute what you can to help the Kemme Family with mounting medical bills and household expenses. We often take our life and health for granted, and hope that this small challenge we are undertaking will inspire support for Team Kemme. Thank you so much!
