Swim, Cycle, Run for Rescues!
Hi Everyone!
On September 18th, Caroline, Melanie & Gerry will be racing in the "Hook or by Crook" Triathlon in aid of PPAWS Cambodia! We will be swimming, cycling, and running the course through the beautiful village of Dunmore East, Waterford, Ireland.
We are is raising money for all of the rescue animals at Phnom Penh Animal Welfare Society, where Caroline worked from 2018 to 2019. Cambodia is a place where there are no animal welfare laws and rabies and the dog meat trade very much exist. The work PPAWS does not only helps animals on a day to day basis with their rescue missions and veterinary clinic, but also focuses on long-term change through education and awareness for local communities and schools all around Cambodia. PPAWS, like a lot of charities, has really struggled with funding due to Covid-19. Your donation will help provide vital medications, vaccinations and surgeries for animals in desperate need and help them find loving homes!
Please support if you can! In Cambodia every € $ £ goes a long long way!
