Rumors, Secrets, And Lies

One of my friends was told that since she is a poet, her job in these chaotic times is to write poems. And so, I believe my job, after June 24th, is also to write (and I did), and now, as a book editor and designer, I thought I should make a book, too. And put it out there, soon. My co-editor at Anhinga Press, Kristine Snodgrass, was as excited about the book as I am. Yay! Anhinga Press will publish Rumors, Secrets, and Lies. We are a small established poetry press founded in 1974, so soon to be 50 years old. — Carol Lynne Knight

Rumors, Secrets, and Lies is a collection of narrative poems, prose poems, flash fiction — stories about abortions, unplanned pregnancies and joyous births. How women, and men, navigated this charged emotional landscape before and during Roe v. Wade.
