Ruiz Family Aid and Assistance

Roman Ruiz, a member of the Utah State Track Team, collapsed during a voluntary workout Saturday, March 7th. By the grace of God, a pedestrian was at the track and started CPR and called 911 to get Roman some help. Once paramedics got to him and revived him, he was life-flighted from Logan Regional to McKay-Dee hospital in Ogden, Utah. He is currently in the intensive care unit in a medically induced coma. We are asking for love, thoughts, and prayers for him and his family but if you feel so inclined we are also extremely grateful for money donations- not only for Roman, but his family as they live out of state and all the immediate expenses that come with that and for the months to come through this journey. Roman's family has felt so much love and continues to, and we know they will appreciate anything you are willing to donate. Utah State Athletics supports this fundraiser and it has been approved by the NCAA for donors and boosters of Utah State athletics to donate if they wish. Kim Whitby, aunt of Roman Ruiz, will manage the funds for the family and will withdrawal the funds for their travel, food, and hotel expenses.
