We at The Bottom Line and DC Restaurant Group are deeply saddened to share that we lost a member of our family last month. Rudy Molina was a loyal, charismatic, and dedicated member of our team who started at The Bottom Line in 2005. He worked in many different roles in restaurants across the company (DCRG) since 1996, including Tequila Grill and Front Page Arlington.
We will forever miss his infectious laugh, the smile that would light up his face when chants of “Rudy, Rudy” would fill the restaurant, and his fierce commitment to his family and the people he worked with. He was an avid fan of Barcelona FC and could often be found fishing during his time off. He is survived by his brother Alex, and his sister as well as his two-year-old daughter and long-term girlfriend.
While Rudy had been in the U.S. for more than 20 years, he was originally from El Salvador and his family would like to bury him there. Therefore we are honored to establish this memorial fund in Rudy’s honor in an effort to help meet the significant cost required to send him home in the next few weeks. Thank you for helping us remember Rudy in this important way.
