My name is Ruby McMahon and I am a 5th student in Loreto on the Green. In February 2026, I will be travelling to Kolkata, India with a small group of girls to volunteer with the children in Loreto schools, Rainbow Rooms and local community centres in West Bengal. With your help, I hope to fundraise €1000 which will go towards the Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre and the amazing work they do.

On the 21st October 2025, my grandad Eugene & I will be running the Dublin Night Run 5KM race together as part of my fundraising journey. This run will be very special because my grandad is the person who not only inspired my love of athletics, but also my passion for social justice.
