Playing on the PGA Tour has been a dream of mine since I started playing golf back in 2nd grade. I recently graduated from Valparaiso University after having a very successful college and amateur golf career. Because of the success I have had and my passion for the game I have decided to continue my golf career with the goal of playing on the PGA Tour. Listed below are my highlights:
2013 Freshman of the Year in the Horizon League
1st Team All Conference (Sophomore, Junior and Senior Year)
2017 Player of the Year in the Horizon League
8 Top 3’s in college
WIN @ 2017 Hoosier Invitational (65-68-73)
3rd Place @ 2017 Wisconsin State Amateur (71-71-67-69)
Because I live in Wisconsin I will not be able to play and practice during the winter months and therefore have decided to move to Orlando, Florida starting in January of 2018 through April of 2018. While in Florida I will be practicing and playing in tournaments on the Florida Professional Golf Tour which will provide experience and feedback for my preparation for Mackenzie Tour Q-School (Canadian Tour) in April.
Playing on the Mackenzie Tour in 2018 is my first stepping stone to the PGA Tour. Based on my finish on the season ending money list my goal is to gain full status onto the Web.com Tour for the 2019 season. The Web.com Tour is the tour one below the PGA Tour. If you think of it in terms of baseball, the Mackenzie Tour is AA and the Web.com Tour is AAA and the PGA Tour is the Major League.
Playing professional golf takes incredible work ethic, talent and financial backing. Through research and knowledge gained from friends who have spent years playing professional golf I have come up with expenses for a winter down south. They are as follow:
Rent: $4000 ($1000/month)
Entry Fees: $2100 ($350/each * 6 tournaments)
Q-School: $2750
Food/Travel Expenses: $3000
Total: $11,850
Any donation would be be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to make a donation at this time, I ask for your thoughts and prayers as I put forth all my time and effort into making this dream a reality.
