Help Me Study Abroad

Hi everyone!

My name is Liz and I attend a local college. Recently, I applied for a study abroad program and just received notice of my acceptance. I applied for the scholarship, but I was not selected as a recipient. Unfortunately, financial aid does not cover any of the costs.

My immediate family is unable to help me due to their financial situations and I am not on good terms with extended Family, due to being disowned at the age of 15. 

Besides my direct family, I thought of another family. ARMY.<3 

I wanted to reach out to the fandom and ask for their support. Keeping the comeback and tour in mind I am not asking for the full amount. Half of the amount would do just fine!  

If by any chance I do go over my goal or there is money left over, I will be donating it to a good cause under ARMY. Before I donate, I will make sure the recipient is agreeable with everyone who allowed me to go abroad.

I will also send everyone who donates hand made stickers and a letter! (>o<)/ 
[Update: I will now be including decals and the stickers will be transparent]

I will also make a video of my experience and update everyone as the program progresses.

I'm sorry if I sound desperate, I just really need to take advantage of this opportunity and I don't know who else to go to. 

I often confine with ARMY on Weverse and I am beyond grateful for you all helping me on my worst days. I wish I could do more for you guys.

A little bit about my academic and career goals:

I am majoring in English and minoring in International Studies. I am the head student for my campus newspaper and a student editor for the literary magazine associated with the college. 

I want to volunteer at orphanages abroad. So to start towards that goal, I decided to volunteer at foster homes in my city and to try gaining experience abroad.  After I achieve both, I want to apply, either through university or independently, in a volunteer abroad program.

The main reason, I am majoring in English is so that I can work remotely while continuing to volunteer at foster homes and orphanages. 

So my experience during college will continue even after I graduate. Besides volunteering in foster homes, and orphanages. I want to be strong enough to volunteer at refugee camps.

I know my goals may sound 'crazy' as my mother puts it, but I don't think it is impossible.
