Run the Parish 2021 - Trinity Version

Since COVID-19 hit many businesses and charities including the churches have suffered loss of income which leaves finances strained. The Virginia Church of Ireland Group of Parishes is no different. This year alone our churches were closed for 22 weeks. Many have continued to give weekly but there are financial challenges.

To raise funds for the 4 churches across the Virginia Church of Ireland Group of Parishes (Billis, Killinkere, Lurgan and Munterconnaught) is having a special gift day on Sunday 8th August 2021.

Also on Sunday 8th August 2021 the Rector staring from the Rectory at 2pm will be Cycling (25km), Kayaking (1km) and Running (12km) between the 4 churches to raise funds.

If you are part of the Virginia Group of Parishes (or beyond) and would like to give towards parish funds or sponsor the Rector then anything would be greatly appreciated.

(* To help parishes, the clergy of the diocese, including the bishop, all agreed to reduce their travel costs for 2021. This amounts to about €2500 saving for each parish group).
