Top surgery

Hey y’all! My name is Dylan, and I’m a proud Transman living my life with my wife in ND. Some of you may know me as family, some may know me as a friend, and some of you may not know me at all. But if you do know me, you know that my transition has been one of the biggest and best changes of my life! Part of it being the best change happened recently when I got married to a wonderful woman! Another recent moment was when I had the chance to legally change my name--another amazing step forward towards me being me, and a big part of my transition! Part of my transition being the BIGGEST change is also about the cost to be more comfortable in my own skin. Today, as I write this out, I’m trying to find the best way to get my message across without it being like, “Poor me. Pity me.” cause that’s not how I am, and that’s not what this is. I’m making this GoFundMe to help towards my top surgery, which costs almost $10,000. I’ve been saving up my own money, and the amount I’m asking for help with is less than half of the costs for my surgery. Because of who I am, I don’t want this to seem like I want anyone to pay for my whole surgery, though I understand when others need that kind of support. Because of this, I have chosen to ask for some help with a portion of these costs. Now, I know $3,000 is a big number, but even if it’s a dollar that you can give--anything helps. Right now, I can only dream that someday I’ll be able to be fully comfortable in my own skin and my own body. This surgery means a lot to me in order to be able to be much more comfortable in my own skin--to be another step closer to who I am inside! So please, all I ask is for support if you can donate.
