For Carol

Hey everyone...so I am sure you all have heard that Carol Broyles Pulmonary Critical Care CNP was in hospice with end stage cancer and just passed away yesterday. I was hoping that we as a unit could come together to do something nice for her and her family during this difficult time, but it is definitely traveling throughout the entire hospital, which is amazing!!   Carol was a compassionate, loving and selfless woman who would do anything for you or your patient in need! It has been brought to my attention that Carol's husband Mike would like the money to be placed as a foundation donation to the hospital and CNE (Center for Nursing Excellence) for critical care education! Let us show our compassion and love to Carol and her family during this tragic time. We are also going to hand out notecards to fill out on how she impacted your life and for her family to know what a great coworker and friend she was to us! Thanks everyone!
