Rozay and Sky's House Fire Fund

Late at night on July 25, 2017, my sister Rozay and I lost our home and cat to a fire that spread from one home to ours in what is now a total loss for both houses. NBC New York covered the fire here -- http://bit.ly/2va5NdB . Although we are thankfully unharmed, we were only able to take what we could carry. We are now asking for any and all financial assistance in helping us secure food, clothing, and temporary housing as we continue to save for a deposit for a new home plus first and last month's rent. We will break down your donations into these five mini-funds:
$192 - three 1-week metrocard passes for two people
$150 - food for three weeks
$210 - new khakis, shoes, socks, shirts + belts for work
$200 - Emergency backup money
$700 - lost items that can be replaced (laptops, electronics, essential household items)
$2000 - new housing
Total ---- $3,502
Before the fire, we and our fellow tenants had already found ourselves watching the house slowly fall into disrepair as our landlord became a slumlord of sorts, responding less and less to our repair requests. As such, it did not take long for the house to succumb to the fire once ablaze. It was even less surprising to see the landlord arrive to the scene after the fire was put out and leave less than an hour later after talking to police but without talking to many of us. Without insurance, this gofundme campaign is our absolute last resort to recoup our losses.

Replacing music gear is easy. Replacing a house is not. As neither of us have insurance, this gofundme campaign is our absolute last resort to recoup our major losses. Beyond that, the only other way we would ask your assistance is to buy our music and book us for shows.
