First of all, thank you so much for clicking on this page. On Sunday, January 19th, 2020, we lost a husband, our Dad, our best friend. Our whole entire rock in this world.
The last text we received was at 1:36PM that his tummy was hurting, calls and texts were made and no response. By 3:31PM my mom received a phone call that they’ve been trying to revive my dad and that he did not make it..
Imagine, I was JUST talking to my Dad earlier that day and we still don’t have any idea how he died. The gruesome process of waiting for a toxicology report takes anywhere between 60-90 days. My family and I have had no peace of mind and I still haven’t seen my father’s body, we still don’t know the cause of his sudden passing.
My Dad was only 61 Years-young with so much love, life, and care in his heart. He always put me, my sister, and especially my Mom above everything else. It’s all still very surreal to me that I am typing this. I now have to live in a world where I don’t have my Dad to call to talk about my boy problems. My sister won’t have a Dad to walk her down the aisle on her wedding day. My Mom doesn’t have a husband that’ll love her physically for the rest of her life. We all lost someone we loved so immensely. What’s even worse is that my sister’s Baby Girl Alivia won’t ever meet her “Lolo Dad”.
All of this is truly immensely painful, traumatic, and absolutely overwhelming. We are all devastated by my dad’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give him the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. We are here asking for help, for your help and to plateau us onto our new normal. Our goal and your donation will support my family and I cover the cost of: funeral expenses, paramedics, and bills.
