Roux's Medical Fund

I remember the day I walked into that house a wild single woman and walked out a wild mother to a wild baby dawg. She totally picked me... after the pile of puppies disperced, there was one puppy sleeping on my lap. I cut a piece of my shirt and tied it around her neck. The next visit, there was no purple shirt tied around any puppies neck and lots of puppies that looked alike. Where are you????, I thought to myself. Then she came up and pawed at my leg, our eyes met and it was love. She is wild lil lady, that is sweet as ever...we really are perfect for each other. We spend alot of time in the woods and all of the time with each other. Roux has taught me so much since we have been together, that unconditional love is just so good!!!! I love this being so much!!!!

About a month ago, Roux suddenly developed a limp and showed signs of being in pain. After a few days of no imporvement, I took her to the vet. It was suggested that I contain the wild dog and keep her as calm as possible in hopes that the injury would heal on its own. The Roux dawg was not into this!!! But we stayed as calm as we possibly could. And still there was no improvement. I took her back in and they did some Xrays and found cancer. What?!?!? How!?!? She is so young...The cancer is called osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and it is deteriating the bones in her back leg causing the limp and pain. As a result, Roux's back leg needs to be amputated. This all needs to happen as soon as possible. I am currently managing her pain with Cbd, doing energy work, sending prayers, cuddling in bed, and loving her up.  I am meeting with a team of experts early next week to get the plan on treatment and surgery on its way. I am also choosing to use alternative medicine. I promised Roux that I will listen carefully to her needs and make decisions that benefit her during this process.
