Ross motorcycle accident

Donation protected
On Aug. 1st Laura and her husband Bob were riding between Taylor and Dawson BC,  when a deer jumped out of a ditch.

Laura did not have enough time to react and hit the deer.  Bob who was riding behind Laura swerved and tried to miss Laura and the deer but ended up dumping his bike as well.

Bob has suffered a major gash in his leg and is on his way to recovery.  Laura has sustained several severe injuries.   Laura was airlifted to Vancouver General, where she endured several surgeries, one being a 15 hours long surgery on her spine to repair broken vertebrae.  She had surgery to repair her left wrist and is also currently in a halo to assist in the healing of her neck.  Several lacerations were also repaired on Laura's face, and more surgery will be needed down the road.  Laura will be in rehab for a while to try and regain the mobility and function of her legs.

We as her work family would like to support Laura and her family during this difficult time.  We are asking not only for donations but to keep Laura and her family in your thoughts and prayers.  We know how strong Laura is and we look forward to her return.  Until then, let us rally together in true family fashion and support one of our own.
