Help Ross Battle Multiple Myeloma

On August 9th, 2020, my father Ross Haynes a 33 year police officer, Army veteran, Son, Father, grandpa, and friend,  was taken by Portage EMS to St. Mary’s Hospital, as he could not breathe and was having chest pain. 4 hours later he was released with cough medicine with still no answers. On August 10th, my father went to see his PCP and was diagnosed with pneumonia.  On August 11th my dad went to Midwest Urgent Care and was told his cough was from his acid reflux medicine and the lining of his stomach was inflamed. Finally, after no results, on August 14th, 2020 we had to take my dad to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Within 11 hours, he was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, Stage 3 Cancer with lesions on his femur, humerus, cervical spine, and 5 on his sternum 1 three hour MRI, 1 pet scan, six million X-rays, 1 blood transfusion, and a week and a half in the hospital after being on multiple medicines and started chemo, we got to bring him home. We have also created a fundraiser for my father as he goes under 16 weeks of chemo therapy every week at Northwestern as well as taking a chemo pill everyday with 14 other pills. I’m creating this go-fund me strictly to help my father pay his medicine bills that the insurance will not be covering including his 1,200.00$ chemo pill he has to pay for every 3 weeks. As well as Cost for gas, tolls, and the expenses of him having to go to Chicago every week. My father also was admitted to Porter Memorial on September 1st, 2020 as he couldn’t breathe. The chemo caused fluid in his lungs and his heart to slow down due to the chemo. I’ve had multiple people ask me about a go-fund me page for people who could not attend his fundraiser. Attached is the link. Also, a result of this, my dad is not working and cannot get any overtime that also helped him with bills as he lives alone. Thankyou so much.
