Support for our beautiful friend Rosie

Hi everyone,

As you may have seen over the last few days, our beautiful, kind, amazing friend Rosie Powell has been diagnosed with cancer. The cancer is currently in her lungs and liver and it hurts beyond words to write this, but there is no cure. And even though we may know what’s coming, there is nothing that can prepare you for how it is going to feel!

At some point this week Rosie will find out what stage the cancer is, how fast it is spreading and she will be given an idea of how long she may have left and also what treatment (if any) may be available to help prolong her life.

Rosie is only 34 and is an amazing Mummy to a perfect little girl called Harriet. Harriet is only 5 years old and is not aware of quite how poorly her Mummy is right now, she thinks she just has a bad shoulder.

Rosie is the type of friend that would always be there, the one that would always have a way of making everyone feel safe. She is always smiling, always positive and even in times like this she is always the strong one. Even in these awful, dark times Rosie is still offering her support to others and documenting this via a Facebook page in order to raise awareness. And now we feel like it’s our turn to repay some of the kindness Rosie has always given. ♥️

At a time like this, we don’t want Rosie to have any additional and unnecessary worries, like money. And whilst she is still able to, it would be lovely for her to continue making memories with her family, friends, boyfriend and darling Harriet. We also know how comforted Rosie would be to know that Harriet will have a little bit of financial support in the future when she is no longer here.

Therefor, if you are able to make any contribution towards this, however big or small, it would be so so appreciated. And even if you can’t, thank you for reading and just make sure you hold each other a little tighter right now. We certainly will be.
