Rosemarie Verdi’s Memorial Fund

A treasured mother, grand mother, aunt, cousin, and mother in-law. A true entertainer, who’s coffee pot was never empty, deck of cards always freshly shuffled, and a kitchen that remained filled with those she loved. A women who made sure her family came first in all that she did. On December 23rd 2017, my grandmother unexpectedly took her final breaths while in her sleep. Rosemarie suffered from severe dementia, which took away her life long before her heart stopped beating. Although her needs grew tremendously in the last 6 years of her life, my parents chose to make the weighted decision of keeping her in the comfort of her home, no matter the stress it brought on.  Rosemarie spent her final years being cared for solely by both my mother and father, in the home she spent the past 40 years. They designated all of their time to caring for her in every aspect, placing their own lives on hold. The troubles, expenses, and sadness brought on by her loss of mental capacity caused a tremendous strain not only on my parents finances, but forever on their hearts. It is with this in mind, I’ve made my decision to do whatever I can to not let her passing become any harder of a process than it already is for them. I am reaching out a hand in my families deepest time of need. I ask for your help in raising the money necessary to provide Rosemarie with the proper farewell she deserves.
