Climbing for Rosaleen

Donation protected
I am creating this go fund me page for my sister Rosaleen Jackson. Rosaleen is a mum to four wonderful children Steven, Aisling, Roisin and Davy. Wife to John,  daughter, sister, auntie, cousin ,niece  and friend. She has lived her life looking after others and now finds herself in the unenviable position of requiring full time care.
Following surgery at Beaumont Hospital on 14/12/2017  Rosaleen had a bleed on the brain, scans showed that there was significant swelling, a piece  of skull was removed and Rosaleen was placed in an induced coma.  Rosaleens condition deteriorated and on 17/12/2017 her husband John was told that they did not expect Rosaleen to make it through the night.
As the extended family gathered and the doctors spoke of brain stem death, irreversible damage, organ donation and post-mortems we said good bye .
I believe the family is in a rare and blessed position as l am able to write that as we spoke about eulogy’s   Rosaleen started to show signs of life and over the next two weeks  came out of the coma , was able to communicate by squeezing  our hand ,very patiently answering us when we each asked if she could see us, hear us , remember childhood memories and knew who we were.
The first week of January Rosaleen was moved from intensive care to the high dependence ward at Beaumont Hospital to begin her rehabilitation as she waits to be transferred to Dunleary the only rehab centre for head trauma in the Republic of Ireland. Staff at Social work and the Physiotherapist Department advised it is too early to know what equipment Rosaleen will need to aid her rehabilitation this coming year so after some thought l decided to set my target at £10,000 to cover any equipment needed in the coming months .
To raise this money l plan to climb Ben Lomond and Ben Nevis.
I will climb Ben Lomond in March to break in my boots for Ben Nevis in May. I know that everyone reading this page  will not be in the fortunate position to donate, Rosaleen is a keen proponent of sending positive thought and prayers, if you could take a moment to do one or both for the best possible outcome for Rosaleens rehabilitation  it would be great fully appreciated.
l will update the page following both climbs , and any family or friends that wish to join me are very welcome.
My sister Rosaleen gave permission for write this page thank you for reading.
