Sovereign Earthworks is a cooperative/constellation of Trans, Queer, Two-Spirit, Gender-Expansive, Black & Indigenous Folx rooted in our divine connection to Earth Mother and nourished by the medicine of our ancestors. We are committed to building and imagining a future that centers food sovereignty, autonomous self liberation, and deep ancestral healing allowing us to reclaim our stories for the eighth generation.
We are committed to providing the food we grow through a CSA to local QTBIPOC folx in our community who have been violently targeted by the food system and would benefit from free nutrient dense, locally grown food. We are committed to providing workshops centered around food sovereignty, autonomous self liberation, and deep ancestral healing. We are committed to seed keeping Indigenous, African Diasporic, Black, heirloom varieties. We are committed to tell our stories through various media platforms including social media, podcasts, and publications.
The money we raise goes directly to supporting this work. It helps purchase supplies and pay our community members so that they can live comfortably. The amount we have asked for will carry us through the end of the year. As our media platforms finalize in the coming weeks we can share updates on how the project is going.
