Help Roo's Brain Get Better!

As some of you may know, our friend Roo has had some recent health issues involving her brain and a small pineal tumor that goes by the name of Sigmund.  Sigmund is a jerk.  

Let me start by saying this lady has the most positive attitude about this that anyone in this situation could possibly have.   While others in a similar situation might become introverted, sad, and anxious, Roo is ready to kick Sigmund's ass right out of her brain and move on with her life.

She recently underwent a minor surgery (is any brain surgery actually minor?)  to drain out excess fluid caused by hydrocephalus, but they were unable to biopsy little Siggy at this time, which gives us more time to toast to his demise.   Doctors are confident that he is benign, and we will know more once he is removed in about a month or so.  

With all that being said, brain surgery is EXPENSIVE.  Not only is Roo fighting the forces of her own brain, but she is also taking on the United States healthcare system and trying to make sure she gets the best care possible (I swear, she's a superhero).  In addition to hospital bills, she is also looking at months of recovery with little physical activity, which is not condusive to being a self-employed yoga teacher in NYC.

Any small amount helps!  Luckily, by being such an awesome person, Roo is surrounded by friends all over the country, and it is up to us to make this as easy as possible for her.  Even if you don't know Roo, anything you could give would be immensely appreciated (Karma, people!) No one should have to go through this kind of thing in their 20's, so let's support her however we can!
