Ronnie's funeral expenses

This is Ronnie. Ronnie was diagnosed with RRP when he was a baby. RRP is a lung disease that can cause many different issues, mainly breathing issues. Sometimes RRP can turn to cancer. This happened in Ronnie’s case. Ronnie took this diagnosis in stride and endured many different treatments to beat this awful disease. Ronnie was admitted to Children’s hospital for the last time in August. His mom, Maria, loved that little boy to the moon and back. She spent every minute at the hospital with him. Maria exhausted all of her FMLA time. She was then granted a one month leave of absence. Unfortunately, Ronnie was still very ill at the end of that leave. So Maria had to make the difficult choice of resigning her position or be fired – or leave her baby at the hospital alone so that she could work. Maria chose to love on Ronnie and stay at the hospital with him. What mother wouldn’t?

Ronnie passed away on Saturday January 13, 2018. Maria is brokenhearted. Unfortunately, since Maria has had no income for the better part of 2017, there is no money for a funeral for Ronnie. As her friend, I am asking for help in raising the money so that Ronnie can have a beautiful service.
