Ronnie & Poppa Relief Fund

This fundraiser was started by members of Twin Cities Relief Initiative - part of the total funds raised with this fundraiser will go to help the family of four (with a baby on the way!) who were also living in the building that burned down
On the evening of Tuesday, December 9th Ronnie left his home to go work out with his daughter, within minutes of leaving he received a call from his neighbor that his house WAS ON FIRE. He returned to find his house engulfed in smoke and flames and immediately was worried about his neighbors but luckily the family of four and mom who was 9 months pregnant, all got out unharmed. But his beloved pup Poppa was still inside, luckily the firemen were able to find Poppa under the guest room bed and rescued him. THANK GOD no one was hurt! The firemen informed Ronnie that the fire was likely caused by an electrical fire that sparked behind a microwave that shared the same wall with a gas fireplace which caused an explosion, but a full investigation will be provided in the coming days. His house and everything in it is destroyed, including several hundred dollars of donated items for the Twin Cities Relief Initiative non-profit that he was storing – and all of this 16 days before Christmas in the year 2020.
Ronnie has been an incredible, undeniable and irreplaceable force all summer for his volunteer organization Twin Cities Relief Initiative. The organization, who benefits from Ronnie’s spectacular talent and leadership, has fed protesters, mourners, unhoused people and those in need all across the Metro since the killing of George Floyd in May. Ronnie is always at every event for TCRI and his devotion to the cause, the people, the volunteers and the community at large knows no bounds. Without Ronnie’s creativity and passion we wouldn’t have our GRILL MASTER and his signature TCRI BBQ- ribs, chicken, pork, kabobs, and most famously his PINEAPPLE BOWLS! We also wouldn’t have our signature swag style, as Ronnie is always making sure that the volunteers are outfitted in the latest and greatest TCRI gear that he has specially made.
Ronnie is vital to so many people and it pains us all to know that our leader is now suffering through a terrible tragedy and it’s our job now to step up and help him as he has helped so many of us and so many he doesn’t even know. Ronnie is a truly selfless person, so please consider walking in Ronnie’s image and donate to this fund to help him get back on his feet.
