Ronnie & Family

Hello, my name is Mary, as you all know my brother, his sister-in-law, and his son were in a frightening car accident (April 18) due to a high-speed chase that was happening where wanted armed suspects were dangerously fleeing from police.
The timing was not in my brother (Ronnie) favor and he became a victim of a collision as he was driving with his sister-in-law and son in the vehicle his car is totaled his sister-in-law has a broken pelvis and possibly broken foot. Thankfully my nephew Ronnie's son did not receive any serious injuries.

The impact of the collision was so severe it left Ronnie with a fractured right side and possible surgery, despite his injuries when the gunfire was being exchanged in apprehending the suspects he shielded his son and sister-in-law with his own body as any family loving man would do to protect the best he can from the ongoing gunfire.

My brother Ronnie is a small business owner who operates Hunans in Eureka Ca, every day he walks in every day with a big smile on his face looking forward to serving the best dish noodles his mind can create. He is a father a husband and such a good person he would give you the shirt off his back.

My brother Ronnie has a long journey of recovery ahead of him and so does my sister-in-law. We are running into more expenses than we are anticipating and have a long journey ahead of him on the road to recovery. We don't know how long this journey may be and hopefully, he doesn't lose his eye. My brother still tries to be in good spirits any and all assistance would be appreciated.

Our family thanks you

UPDATE AS OF APRIL 21
Ronnie is cleared to go home to Eureka and began his healing process and to also reunite with his son and sister in law. He has a fractured left side face but still not sure if he will need surgery due to the swelling nor do we know if the accident has compromised his vision. His sister in law however will need intensive physical therapy due to her broken ankle and pelvis. She will have to remain in the states until she gets the care she needs here before trying to leave back to Laos. That time being is unknown. We The Worasen family want to thank each and every one who has donated, shared, reached out to us and kept us in your thoughts and prayers. We are beyond amazed and truly thankful words is just not enough.
