Ronan's Cancer Treatment

Hi! My name is Ronan and these are my humans, Kristina & Monti.

I know they love me very much! I was surrendered to the SPCA in Powell River by my previous family in 2019 but I wasn't too sad. I knew there were special humans that I was meant for. I definitely found them. They drove & took a ferry just to meet me - it was love at first sight - for all of us!

I had a few health issues back in the day and they sure took good care of me and made sure I was healthy. I have the best food, my human mom bakes the best treats for me (although she likes to share them with my dog friends)!

This past week, I had surgery to hopefully remove a small mass in my nose. Sadly, they could not completely remove the mass. The biopsy revealed I have a malignant melanoma. I'm not ready to leave my humans yet - they still need me. I have a chance to get some treatment that will slow down the progression of my cancer. My humans would love me to get me started on this treatment however, they need a little help as the cost is a little more than they thought it would be.
