Romina nuevamente necesita radioterapia, ayuda a Romina a terminar su tratamiento y retomar sus planes para el futuro.

Hola...mi nombre es Romina De Los Ángeles Matute Ortega, tengo 18 años de edad, estudiante y apasionada por el baile flamenco. Y necesito su ayuda para continuar mi tratamiento Post Trasplante de médula ósea.

Esta es mi historia: El 01 de abril de 2022 fue hallado en mí una Adenopatía en la Región Supraclavicular Izquierda y en el triángulo Latero Cervical Posterior. Una Adenopatía Parasternal Izquierda entre 2do y 3er Arco Costal. Y una Lesión sólida en Hemitorax Superior Izquierdo.

Días siguientes se tomó muestra para Biopsia de Plastrón Adenomegalico Cervical Izquierdo, concluyendo la impresión diagnóstica "Linfoma de Hodking tipo Nodular Esclerosante".

El 02 de mayo de 2022 inicié mi primer esquema de quimioterapia, cumpliendo con 06 ciclos para un total de 12 sesiones cada 15 días.

Para el mes de septiembre de 2022, ya cumplido los ciclos de quimioterapia, entré en remisión clínica. El 22 de agosto de 2023, siguiendo mi control anual, se evidencia aumento de la Lesión en Región Medastinica y Región Infraclavicular Izquierda. Comparando con estudios anteriores, encuentran disminución del número de lesiones ósea de cuerpos vertebrales; sin embargo, a nivel de Pelvis Ósea, se encuentran aumentados tanto en la Región de los Huesos Iliacos como en los Fémures. Concluyendo que me encontraba ante una recaída y existencia Tumoral activa nuevamente.

Se dio inicio a un nuevo esquema de quimioterapia cada 21 días.

En diciembre de 2023 ya finalizado las quimioterapias, se abrió paso a un tratamiento de acondicionamiento con quimioterapia de barrido y el 19 de diciembre de 2023 se llevó a cabo Trasplante Autólogo de Médula Ósea.

Actualmente me encuentro en remisión clínica, pero ameritó recibir de manera importante para evitar recaída y como cierre de tratamiento post trasplante reforzar mi Sistema Inmunológico con ampollas Nivolumab, 12 sesiones quincenalmente, siendo el costo de esta medicina muy elevado. No cuento con seguro médico, mis gastos desde inicios del diagnóstico han sido cubiertos con ayuda de mi papá, mamá y familia.

Adicional a los gastos por medicina, se deben cubrir gastos por honorarios médicos, laboratorios, estudios, dieta y cuidados especiales.

Confío en Dios y la Virgen que todo saldrá bien y que podré llevar a cabo el tratamiento que requiero para mi recuperación y total sanación, pero necesito de tu mano amiga y aporte económico para poder costear los gastos para el tratamiento final. Gracias de antemano y que Dios los bendiga.

This is my story: On April 1, 2022, an adenopathy was found in my left supraclavicular region and in the posterior lateral cervical triangle. A left parasternal adenopathy between the 2nd and 3rd costal arches. And a solid lesion in the upper left hemithorax.

In the following days, a sample was taken for a biopsy of the left cervical adenomegalic plastron, concluding the diagnostic impression as "Nodular Sclerosing Hodgkin's Lymphoma."

On May 2, 2022, I began my first chemotherapy regimen, completing 06 cycles for a total of 12 sessions every 15 days.

By September 2022, having completed the chemotherapy cycles, I entered clinical remission. On August 22, 2023, during my annual check-up, an increase in the lesion in the mediastinal region and left infraclavicular region was evidenced. Compared with previous studies, there was a decrease in the number of bone lesions in the vertebral bodies; however, in the bone pelvis, there was an increase in both the iliac bones and femurs regions. It was concluded that I was facing a relapse and the existence of active tumor again.

A new chemotherapy regimen was initiated every 21 days.

In December 2023, after finishing the chemotherapies, a conditioning treatment with sweeping chemotherapy was started, and on December 19, 2023, an autologous bone marrow transplant was performed.

I am currently in clinical remission, but it is important to receive, to prevent relapse and as a closing of the post-transplant treatment, to strengthen my immune system with Nivolumab injections, 12 sessions bi-weekly, with the cost of this medicine being very high. I do not have health insurance, and my expenses since the beginning of the diagnosis have been covered with the help of my father, mother, and family.

In addition to the expenses for medicine, there are costs for medical fees, laboratories, studies, diet, and special care.
