Romans road to recovery
Donation protected
Hey everyone.
welcome to the fundraiser page for Our darling Roman and his family.
Roman, who is at the young age of two, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) on 18 June 2018. Originally he was classed as medium risk, which meant 6 months intensive treatment and 18 months of maintenance (a tablet a day and blood tests every 2 weeks). But last week his bone marrow biopsy results showed that there were still traces of leukaemia in his bone marrow, whereas there should have been no traces at all by this stage of treatment. Because of this he has been moved into the high risk category for ALL and will have an extra 8 months of treatment, and the treatment will be much more aggressive and intensive compared to before. Because of this Tash and Ron ( mum&dad ) both won’t be able to work full time as we need to focus on looking after Roman and his brother Vin.
This is an extremely stressful and difficult time for all the family and Tash Ron and Vin need to be able to be there as much as possible as get through this next tough 8 months without having to worry about the stressors of not being able to work full time while having a child who is in treatment.
Dig deep if your able, alternatively please share this and feel free to let me know of any other sort of donations/services you may be able to offer.
With much appreciation.
Team Roman.
