Hi, my name is Becka and i am raising funds to help my very good friends poorly pooch get the surgery he needs to get better.... here is the plea from his Dad Dailey

I'm desperate for your help

I've been putting off making this post as I am an absolute wreck at the moment. My Rolo has developed Spondylosis, a disease of the spine that occurs when bony spur or osteophytes form on the outer edge of the spinal bones. This causes a lot of pain and nerve issues. He also has a slipped disc in his neck which needs confirming via a second vet, whose phone call I'm waiting on.

He is medicated for his pain and on strict rest, but it is looking like he will need spinal surgery to fix the slipped disc before he deteriorates. This has already been happening as I've been trying to have his pain investigated for months to no avail. Only now, after pushing, have these issues been discovered and me feeling like people thought I was crazy and overthinking it.

His insurance is almost used up already. The surgery is going to cost somewhere in the region of £5-8,000. Not including MRI scans/CT scans, tests, medications, potential hydrotherapy and god-knows what else.

He doesn't deserve any of this. Especially after what he went through last year!! Of which I am so grateful for everyone's support and bereft that I have to ask again

It is killing me seeing my boy like this. Please, I beg of you, friends, and family too this time don't just scroll by please help me raise the funds to save my baby. I know times are hard, but I have no alternative than to ask so that Rolo can have his surgery and hopefully recover. Because right now, I'll never be able to throw the ball for him again, his favourite activity of all. I may have to move home to take care of him.

No one truly understands how much I love Rolo. Because of my autism, the bonds I create are huge and life changing when impacted. Something I have always struggled with.

Thousands of photos and videos fill my phone, my Instagram, my Facebook and my computer. He's on my walls.

He is ingrained into the very soul of me and I will never be the same if anything happens to him.

Please, for the love of God, help my boy
