This past May, Chris Orcutt was diagnosed with stage three Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck. Chris is now in for the fight of his life. Less than two weeks after his first doctor appointment Chris had surgery to remove some of the tumor in his neck that is connected to his carotid artery. Chris has started his rigorous cancer treatment, which includes three rounds of chemotherapy, and daily radiation therapy for a minimum of seven weeks and possibly more surgery in his future.

Anyone thqt knows Chris knows he is a loving husband, a great dad, and grandfather. In his free time he loves spending time with his family and friends, and of course watching his favorite team the Alabama Crimson Tide. Chris has been a self-employed painter/drywall finisher for the past fifteen years. Due to the aggressive nature of his treatment, Chris is currently unable to work. Although Chris has health insurance, the expenses not covered by insurance are many and add up quickly.  The loss of income and normal day to day expenses make this fight extremely difficult on the family.
