The Fund Raiser for the Family of Jane McShea

Proverbs 19:21 teaches us that “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” On Friday, January 29th God had other plans for Jane McShea, and she passed away peacefully with family at her bedside.
As those of you who have been a part of this community know so well, the McSheas, their friends and their extended family were hopeful that after intensive therapy and prolonged convalescence Jane could return to her family and friends, and to her calling as compassionate women’s health and family counsellor. Sadly, this was to be all too brief.
Jane’s illness proved too great an adversary, even for such a valiant and determined fighter. Her passing has now left Bernie and Caroline without a beloved wife and mother and mounting medical expenses. The prolonged period without steady income also has kept the family’s finances in a precarious state.
Thus, with medical bills still to pay, and college costs looming (Caroline had deferred her freshman year to stay with Jane and to lessen the financial burden), we have chosen to keep this appeal open in the hope that we can meet or exceed our original goal.
If you have donated previously, please consider contributing again. Any amount, even small sums, would be enormously helpful and greatly appreciated.
