Rolita’s medical fund

Hi friends,
We are raising funds for our lovely nanny Rolita, so she can have an operation in her fight against cancer.
We live in Singapore, the most expensive city imaginable and healthcare costs are astronomical. Her insurance is capped and it will not cover the cost of the surgery.
During 2017 Rolita was being treated for what was believed to be a stomach ulcer and abdominal pain. Just before Christmas 2017 she went for further test and scans.
Unfortunately, after many tests (including CT scans, colonoscopy, endoscopy, biopsy and blood tests) it has been revealed that she had colon cancer that has now spread into other organs. Rolita needs an operation to remove the tumor from her colon, so she can digest food and therefore giving her a better chance to fight.
At this moment the doctors are not sure how much this operation will cost. The best solution for her is to go back to Philippines and have further treatment there and to be with her family. She has a 9 year old boy, Angelo and has been working abroad as a domestic helper for 8 years in order to support her family and provide good education for Angelo. She is the sole breadwinner in that family. We are hoping to raise 5000 pounds, which should be enough to cover her medical expenses for the next few months and give her some peace of mind and allow her spend some time with her caring family.
In case of leftover funds - these will be used for Rolita's son's education and will be released to her mother in law, who is caring for him.
