Help Roland Bowers!

To my FB friends and family. This Saturday, with the help of Drew McKay, I've organized an event to build a ramp for a fellow Mason.

This story is particularly sad as Roland is a beautiful soul. Recently, Roland faced a horrible illness that caused the doctors to treat it by keeping the blood in his body close to his heart. This starved his extremities for oxygen; and they subsequently parishes. He's now a quad-amputee.

If that isn't bad enough, Roland is blind. His primary caretaker (his mother) is blind as well. Let that sink in.... a blind man without hands to feel and feet to walk.

For those in the Masonic community you know he will be taken care of as much as we can. What we lack are funds to ensure we modify his home correctly. He is wheelchair bound now and forever. And he is a young man.
