In August of 2016, Roger was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer at the age of 41. The battle against cancer has been a hard one, especially at such an advanced stage. Roger has always been an enthusiastic, outgoing, and active person. He's a great husband, and an invloved father, dedicating his free time to volunteer as a coach for his kid's competitive soccer teams. After being diagnosed, he had to give up his passion of coaching to focus on recovering his health.
Since his diagnosis he has visited different specialists and tried treatments including chemotherapy and immunotherapy, but with no success. So we look to take a different approach: alternative medicine. Sadly, these kinds of treatments aren't liable for financial aid. Currently, Vidmary Rodriguez is Roger's wife and caregiver, and has taken time off work to take care of her husband.
