Rogelio and Family Need Legal Help--Urgently!!

Rogelio is a dear colleague who is dedicated to serving children in DC Public Schools. Rogelio and his wife, Nelly, are being sued under a "slip and fall" allegation. Witnesses stated the plaintiff walked away and said she was fine at the time of the slip. Rogelio and Nelly have no means to pay legal fees to defend themselves. Their court date is next week and the judge has refused an extension. Rogelio is a dedicated DCPS school aide and has worked for DCPS for more than 20 years. Nelly was studying to be a nurse when she had her first stroke. She had a second that put her in a wheelchair permanently. She had a third stroke after this suit was brought against her and Rogelio. They have 4 beautiful children, and two they are still raising--on Rogelio's school aide salary alone. This $8000 will allow Rogelio and Nelly to have a lawyer work on their case and represent them in court and hopefully prevent them from losing this case simply because they don't have the legal representation they need.
