My name is Rodney Pierre-Louis, Im a father and a husband with a full time job and compete in Olympic lifting. I started this Journey in 2016 and have never looked back. With the help of Coach Tray, who has been by my side on this Journey since 2016. He has helped me with my training and helped me become the athlete that I am today. I train as much as I can between my responsibilities with work and at home and without help could not otherwise afford this opportunity . I have competed in five tournaments since May 2018. Accomplishments achieved.

1st place Matt Davis Memorial 85kg 40-44 age group May 2017.

1st place Back to School Open 85kg 40–44 age group September 2017.

4th place American Masters 85kg 40-44 age group November 2017.

1st place Cohen Weightlifting Championships 85kg 40-44 age group March 2018

1st Place Matt Davis Memorial 85kg 40-44 age group May 2018.

Qualified for the Pan American Open June 2018 (Quebec, Canada)

Qualified for World Masters August 2018 (Barcelona, Spain)

I know the older I get and the less time there would be to train in the future makes this fleeting opportunity for me . Help realize my tremendous value and achieve my dream by supporting me in going to World Masters in Barcelona, Spain  August 18 – 26.  So I appreciate any and all donations towards achieving my goal of competing on a World Stage for a sport I have already committed so much to.

Funds will be used for flight, hotel, food, and other expenses while I achieve this once in a lifetime opportunity. Funds will be needed by July 31st.
