Rodney Oliver

Our dear friend Rodney L. Oliver went to be with Our Heavenly Father early Sunday morning, October 11, 2020 in Carrollton, TX. Rodney was born on August 8th, 1972 in Burlington N.C. where he attended elementary through high school.  Rodney graduated college from UNC-CH while meeting new people and making multitudes of friends with his beautiful singing, infectious smile and sense of humor.  Rodney loved the game of basketball and children and made his career doing what he loved!  Although our hearts are heavy with his passing, they are full of love and fond memories that will live on forever.  

We are in need of financial support to pay for funeral expenses and bringing home our dear Friend, Teammate, Brother and Tar Heel!

(Per Rodney’s request, Pamela Burney (Rodney’s cousin) will be the beneficiary of the donations.  She will honor his wishes to coordinate memorial services and be returned home from Texas to be laid to rest in Burlington, NC.  All donations received are for the purpose of providing financial support for services associated with properly laying Rodney to rest).
