RockBots to rule the World... ...Championships!

After a very successful 2018-2019 Season where the RockBots went to the @VexWorlds Championships, the Rock-G-Bots were the first Miami Dade County Public School All Girls Team to earn a ticket to the tournament's finals and the RockBots, as they earned the same feat, placed 5th in their Division and ranked 33rd in the World Rankings!
This year we go into the final stretch of the season with 3 teams already qualified to the State Championships and all three already earned a spot to go to the 2020 CREATE US Open Championship in Council Bluffs, IA next March 30th to April 4th, 2020.
We are confident our teams will also earn a ticket to compete in the prestigious VEX Wolrd Championships 2020 where the Bluegrass State will once again host the tournament. We have one of our teams leading the state and two others very high ranked! This event will take place from April 22nd to April 28th, 2020.
We rely on our donors and sponsors to help us get there. The funds collected will be utilized to pay for airfare, lodging, shipping of robots and tools, meals, uniforms and registration fees. The approximate cost for these trips is $2,150 per participant and we are looking to have enough funds to send all the team members, who by the way have worked very hard to design, build, fail, build again, program, fail again, program again and succeed with these robots. There are a total of 18 young engineers who would love to participate in this lifetime experience.
